ELECTION AFTERMATH + JOHN TITOR = NO CIVIL WAR OR ELECTION AFTERMATH - COMMON SENSE = WHAT WE DESERVE?

"JOHN - NOV. 11, 2000: I would use the word 'elections' a bit cautiously. Perhaps it's easier now to see a civil war in your future?

JOHN - DEC, 13, 2000: Real disruptions in world events begin with the destabilization of the West as a result of degrading US foreign policy and consistency. This becomes apparent around 2004 as civil unrest develops near the next presidential election."

HIGH SCHOOL ATTACK: KERRY TAUNTS TIED TO FIGHT
Wed Nov 10 2004 09:55:52 ET
Three high school students face charges for using a bat to beat another student who taunted them about being John Kerry supporters days after the contentious election.

The 17-year-old Apple Valley victim was assaulted Thursday in a Minnesota Zoo parking lot near Apple Valley's School of Environmental Studies, better known as the zoo school. Chad McKay, also 17, stood over the victim attempting to protect him.

"It's a good thing to see young people interested and excited about politics," said Dakota County Attorney James Backstrom. "It's obviously very disturbing to see this kind of violence over it."

The SAINT PAUL PIONEER PRESS reported in morning editions: The argument began earlier in the day Thursday with a discussion about candidates the minors had supported for president, Backstrom said. The two victims supported President Bush.

"We were sitting in the computer room at school, and there was kind of a political debate," said Chad McKay of Arden Hills. "Some people said only gay people vote for Bush." Chad said the victim said "only gay people would vote for Kerry because he supports gay marriage."
Backstrom said the victims then "called the other guys some names."

Chad said later in the afternoon when he and the victim were walking to their cars they heard their three senior classmates yelling at them, according to the police report.

Chad got to his car, but the three 17-year-olds attacked the victim, he said, hitting him in face, including with a baseball bat and kicking him. One boy had a padlock wrapped around his finger, Chad said.

Machine Error Gives Bush Extra Ohio Votes

COLUMBUS, Ohio - An error with an electronic voting system gave President Bush (news - web sites) 3,893 extra votes in suburban Columbus, elections officials said. Franklin County's unofficial results had Bush receiving 4,258 votes to Democrat John Kerry (news - web sites)'s 260 votes in a precinct in Gahanna. Records show only 638 voters cast ballots in that precinct. Bush's total should have been recorded as 365.

Why Americans Hate Democrats—A Dialogue
The unteachable ignorance of the red states.

The day after the election, Slate's political writers tackled the question of why the Democratic Party—which has now lost five of the past seven presidential elections and solidified its minority status in Congress—keeps losing elections. Chris Suellentrop says that John Kerry was too nuanced and technocratic, while George W. Bush offered a vision of expanding freedom around the world. William Saletan argues that Democratic candidates won't win until they again cast their policies the way Bill Clinton did, in terms of values and moral responsibility. Timothy Noah contends that none of the familiar advice to the party—move right, move left, or sit tight—seems likely to help. Slate asked a number of wise liberals to take up the question of why Americans won't vote for the Democrats. Click here to read previous entries.

Hundreds March In Anti-Bush And Anti-War Protest

SEATTLE - About 500 protesters marched through downtown Seattle Saturday, venting their frustration over President Bush's re-election and calling for United States troops to be pulled out of Iraq.

http://www.komotv. com/stories/33841.htm

Peaceful protests protect America

Police responded to vandalism at the GOP building to find, as reported, broken windows, kerosene-soaked rags, vulgar slogans and charred effigy. The spray paint canisters and half-burned dolls depicting George W. Bush and John F. Kerry were found near the scenes of both protests.

What is weird about this occurrence is that it falls in line with a string of retaliation in the days since Bush was announced as president. All over the country, students -- young men and women -- are marching, vandalizing, camping out and protesting. From the 85 high school students in Colorado camping out in their school library, to 1,000 protesters demonstrating on the streets of Portland, Ore. to the 5,000 people that started a bonfire in the heart of San Francisco during a march through the streets -- all to show their disapproval of Bush being re-elected.

Anti-war protests take place across the Northwest

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) - Police and anti-war protesters clashed in downtown Portland for the second time this week. Police made three arrests. Scott Barth and Cole Perry were arrested for interfering with officers and Colleen Phillips was charged with interference, harassment and attempted assault of a police officer. The 53-year-old woman allegedly bit and spit at an officer during her arrest.

Outrage in Ohio: Angry residents storm State House in response to massive voter suppression and corruption

Toledo, Ohio -Hundreds of angry Ohio residents marched through the streets of Columbus—Ohio’s Capital—this evening and stormed the Ohio State House, defying orders and arrest threats from Ohio State Troopers. "O-H-I-O ! suppressed democracy has got to go,"they chanted. After troopers pushed and scuffled with people, nearly a hundred people took over the steps and entrance to the State’s giant white column capital building and refused repeated orders to disperse or face arrest. People prepared for arrests, ready to face jail—writing lawyers phone numbers on their arms, signing jail support lists and discussing non-cooperation and active resistance (linking arms, but not fighting back).

A freshly painted banner held on the steps read "ONE VOTE DENIED = DEMOCRACY IN TROUBLE! 100’S OF 1000’S OF VOTES SURPRESSED = DEMOCRACY FAILED" articulated the crisis. An unprecedented massive grassroots voter registration and get out the vote effort and widespread opposition to Bush went up against the massive coordinated Republican effort to suppress, intimidate and possibly steal millions of votes. In addition to the voter suppression and intimidation is the fact that Bush campaign co-chair Secretary of State Kenneth Blackwell is in charge of the election and vote counting. But much deeper questions about fundamental flaws in the system hang in the air.

STOLEN ELECTION?
CNN's exit poll showed Kerry beating Bush among Ohio women by 53 percent to 47 percent. Kerry also defeated Bush among Ohio's male voters 51 percent to 49 percent. Investigative reporter Greg Palast in an article today titled "Kerry Won" details how the deciding states, Ohio and New Mexico, if all votes were actually counted, would have gone to Kerry. Palast explains, "Although the exit polls show that most voters in Ohio punched cards for Kerry-Edwards, thousands of these votes were simply not recorded. The election in Ohio was not decided by the voters but by something called "spoilage." Typically in the United States, about 3 percent of the vote is voided, just thrown away, not recorded." But that is just a piece of it.

Kirksville, Mo.: Anti-Bush protesters try to 'reclaim streets'

Anti-Bush protesters marched through the rainy Kirksville streets Wednesday afternoon carrying signs, banging drums and slowing rush-hour traffic.

More than 20 Truman State University students and a few local citizens marched east on Normal Avenue before blocking the intersection at Baltimore Street to protest the outcome of Tuesday's election.

Lines of cars stretched for blocks in both directions on Baltimore as the protesters tried to "Reclaim the Streets," according to one of their banners. Other signs criticized President Bush and the American two-party system.

"I'm out here protesting Bush's four more years [and] to let Bush know there are protests and not everyone is happy with the way this country is going right now," Jesse Dowell, a student, said.

MORE NON-LETHAL WEAPONS THAT ARE QUITE LETHAL

"JOHN - NOV. 25, 2000: Yes there were biological and chemical weapons used. No mind control weapons but there are new "non-lethal" weapon systems that turn out to be quite lethal.

JOHN - FEB. 8, 2001: Sometimes I watch your television programs that show SWAT teams using new non-lethal weapons. They usually start out with, "In the future, the army and police will fight its enemies with new weapons systems…" When they use the word "enemy", they're talking about YOU! You don't really think the Marines are going to jump out of helicopters overseas with sticky goop, pepper spray and seizure lights, do you? "

Man dies after police use stun gun
FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) -- A man suspected of trying to illegally hook up electrical service died after police shocked him with a stun gun when he was found hiding at an apartment complex, authorities said.

Robert Guerrero, 21, was pronounced dead Tuesday at John Peter Smith Hospital where he was taken after officers subdued him with a Taser stun gun and he stopped breathing, police said. The stun guns, used primarily by police, temporarily incapacitate people by sending electrical charges through their bodies. While some deaths have been linked to their use, officials of Scottsdale, Arizona-based Taser International have defended their product, now used by thousands of law enforcement agencies nationwide.

Sox Fan's Death Raises Questions on Force

BOSTON (Oct. 23) -- The death of a college student who was hit in the eye with a pepper spray-filled projectile has sparked anger and questions about whether police used too much force to break up revelers after the come-from-behind victory by the Red Sox.

Boston police bought the projectile weaponry for crowd control during this summer's Democratic National Convention but did not use it then because protests remained relatively subdued.

Melvin Tucker, a security consultant who specializes in the use of force by police, said "less-than-lethal'' weaponry has become increasingly popular among police departments around the country over the last five years as a replacement for tactics such as nightsticks and tear gas.
"This is generally a lot safer. It's a real tragedy,'' said Tucker, a former police chief of Tallahassee, Fla., and Asheville, N.C.

IS THIS WHAT JOHN TOLD US TO LOOK FOR WITH THE VOTING MAP?

"Q: Are some areas of the United States safer than others?

MONSTER'S DEADLY WARNING TO 'RED' STATES

November 1, 2004 -- WASHINGTON - Osama bin Laden warned in his October Surprise video that he will be closely monitoring the state-by-state election returns in tomorrow's presidential race — and will spare any state that votes against President Bush from being attacked, according to a new analysis of his statement.

http://www.nypost.com/ news/nationalnews/ 33124.htm

A Tale of Two Osamas

By most accounts, Osama bin Laden's election-eve videotape bombshell is 18 minutes long. But TV networks, including Qatar-based Al Jazeera, have broadcast only a few minutes of it and released only excerpts from it. Why not the full tape and transcript?

The answer might lie in the multiple swipes bin Laden takes against the United States, the Bush family, their dubious – in his eyes – commitment to freedom and their corruption. Even in the portions released, the Al Qaeda fugitive ridicules the Florida fiasco and rails about the depredations of American corporations.

JOHN'S WMD PREDICTION CONFIRMED BY U.S. ADMINISTRATION

"JOHN: FEB 25, 2001 - Are you really surprised to find out that Iraq has nukes now or is that just BS to whip everyone up into accepting the next war?"

Bush, Cheney Concede Saddam Had No WMDs

WASHINGTON (AP) - President Bush and his vice president conceded Thursday in the clearest terms yet that Saddam Hussein had no weapons of mass destruction, even as they tried to shift the Iraq war debate to a new issue - whether the invasion was justified because Saddam was abusing a U.N. oil-for-food program.

Ridiculing the Bush administration's evolving rationale for war, Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry shot back: "You don't make up or find reasons to go to war after the fact."

JOHN: MAR 13, 2001 - Yes I suppose that is one thing you could do with it. I could also cut my hand off with a power saw or heat up a crowd of people with a microwave. "

Air Force Looks at New Microwave Weapon

By JAMES HANNAH, Associated Press Writer

DAYTON, Ohio - The Air Force expects planes will be able to fire non-lethal microwave rays at enemy ground troops with the help of a new superconducting generator system developed at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base after about 25 years of research.

Heavy, inefficient generators have been a hurdle to the development of airborne microwave weapons, which create a disabling burning sensation.

Microwaves could be used to control large groups of enemy fighters without killing them or disable electronics-dependent enemy weapons, said Philip Coyle, senior adviser for the Center for Defense Information.

IRS AND TAX CHANGES CONSIDERED

Bush Says National Sales Tax Worth Considering
Tue Aug 10, 8:15 PM ET
NICEVILLE, Fla. (Reuters) - President Bush (news - web sites) said on Tuesday that abolishing the U.S. income tax system and replacing it with a national sales tax was an idea worth considering.
"It's an interesting idea," Bush told an "Ask President Bush" campaign forum here. "You know, I'm not exactly sure how big the national sales tax is going to have to be, but it's the kind of interesting idea that we ought to explore seriously."

How to Dismantle the IRS

As Congress and President Bush jump headlong into a battle over tax cuts, one large taxpayers' organization is convinced that the income tax should be scrapped completely in favor of a single-rate retail sales tax. Such a tax, the argument goes, would free up billions of dollars in collection and filing costs and would bring true fairness to the tax system.

!!! IS WESLEY CLARK

"WACO TYPE EVENTS"
IN OUR FUTURE? !!!

Before the civil war started, John said we would see more Waco type events in our future. According to the article, Wesley Clark was a big mucky-muck when that was going on. Is this what John was talking about?

General Alarm
Conspiracy Theorists See Clark as Another Piece of the Waco Puzzle
September 24 - 30, 2003

In the dumps since Bill Clinton pretty much dropped out of sight, conspiracy buffs awoke with a start last week to learn that Wesley Clark had jumped into the presidential race. Not only do right-wing conspiracists hate the Rhodes Scholar and goody-goody Clark for being what they see as yet another Clinton puppet, but they remember him as a possible collaborator in the Waco attack in 1993. At the time of the government's storming of the Branch Davidian compound in Waco, Clark was commanding officer of the First Cavalry Division of the Army's Third Corps, based at Fort Hood, Texas. Equipment and personnel under his command had some involvement in the Waco fiasco.

NEW NON-LETHAL WEAPONS IN THE NEWS

SOUTH POMFRET, Vt. - Marines arriving in Iraq this month as part of a massive troop rotation will bring with them a high-tech weapon never before used in combat - or in peacekeeping. The device is a powerful megaphone the size of a satellite dish that can deliver recorded warnings in Arabic and, on command, emit a piercing tone so excruciating to humans, its boosters say, that it causes crowds to disperse, clears buildings and repels intruders.

So shouldn't we have a similar discussion about high-intensity sound, which can cause permanent hearing loss or even cellular damage? The new megaphone being deployed to Iraq can operate at 145 decibels at 300 yards, according to American Technology, well above the normal threshold for pain. The company posits a scenario in which Al Qaeda terrorists would run screaming from caves after being subjected to a blast of high-decibel sound from the devices, their hands covering their ears. But in Baghdad or other Iraqi towns, where there are crowds and buildings, the sick and elderly, as well as children, are likely to be in the weapon's range.
